Job Simulator is a comical virtual reality game where the player assumes various jobs in a cartoon world. In each job, you’ll have to perform various work-related tasks or just have fun interacting with your environment. Once you’ve explored all the jobs, you’ll also gain access to fun bonus modes that alter the physics of the game, adding variety and replayability.
Get to work
In Job Simulator, players can take on one of four jobs: office worker, convenience store clerk, mechanic or gourmet chef. Though these may not sound like the most thrilling occupations, most of the tasks assigned to you are zany interpretations inspired by the real thing. Even more mundane tasks – like making coffee – become fun just by virtue of being in VR.
An interactive workplace
Most of the gameplay simply involves interacting with your work environments and the objects contained within them. Throw, activate and combine cute virtual recreations of different items and see how they interact with each other. So, you might try pouring wine on the stove or shoving your head in the photocopier just to see what happens. Even though you are provided with tasks to complete, the game does not have scores or time clocks. In this way, Job Simulator is more like a VR experience than a game, so don’t expect a great deal of challenge or intense gameplay. But if you’re looking for a fun, kid-friendly introduction to VR, this will certainly get the job done!
